Job Description

An exceptional opportunity to join a leading luxury men’s fashion brand as Assistant Store Manager on Sloane Street.

As Assistant Store Manager you will lead, motivate, inspire, and cultivate a happy, positive sales team. As a primary duty of management, you will actively direct and manage direct reports, achieving results through growing and developing the team members to deliver individual and team success.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Store Manager in the overall management of the store
  • Assume total store leadership in absence of the Store Manager and contribute to strategic planning of short and long term objectives
  • Lead the sales floor and drive store results through the sales team
  • Actively coach and develop strong selling behaviours, and high standards of customer service
  • Lead and inspire staff to unlock individual potential maximising sales potential and results
  • Train teams on product, providing knowledge that will permit high performance selling
  • Involved in recruitment, hiring, on boarding, training, development, performance management, terminations and succession planning
  • Leads direct reports to maintain merchandise presentation standards in addition to sales tasks
  • Building customer loyalty through current brand strategies
  • Leading change through positivity and a growth mind-set
  • Executing store opening and closing procedures
  • Managing all activities related to providing a safe work environment
  • Understanding, demonstrating and enforcing Company values

Essential Capabilities

  • Previous experience leading leaders and teams
  • Previous experience of working as a Luxury Menswear Manager (Sloane Street preferred)
  • Ability to improve customer satisfaction, drive customer loyalty, and clienteling
  • Proven ability to effectively delegate, follow up and communicate with all levels of the organisation
  • Management and organisational skills
  • To assess talent, coach, develop, retain, and manage performance
  • Business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skills
