Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a Cashier to join a leading luxury fashion house. The purpose of the role is to administer all till transactions, and to offer excellent customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient working with till systems and procedures
  • Set-up and maintain the tills ready for the day’s trading / throughout the day
  • Responsible for the daily takings
  • Ensure all transactions are put through the till correctly
  • Make certain that any discrepancies are investigated thoroughly and reported to the Store Manager / Administrator immediately or at the end of the business day
  • Determine systems and procedures relating to barcoding, postage, VAT, alterations, and returns are followed at all times
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Maintain a high level of communication with clients colleagues and all members of management at all times
  • Awareness of the Companies Returns Policy
  • Carry out any administrative tasks request by Senior Management
  • Answer any telephone or email queries on behalf of the store
  • Customer Service and product knowledge
  • Awareness of store targets and objectives
  • Monitoring of store mailing database

Requirements

  • Computer Literacy, able to work with IT systems
  • Previous experience as a Cashier / Store Administrator
  • Previous luxury retail exposure
  • Attention to detail
